Smoothies are a regular lunch and dinner favorite around here. Typically it’s yogurt, almond milk or coconut milk with strawberries, blueberries, banana, raspberries, honey(or stevia) and often spinach or lettuce as well. When the summer heat took hold this year, and I found an abundance of yogurt in my frig, I decided to make some frozen treats. I mixed up a couple of batches of smoothies and froze some of it in popsicle molds and rest in freezer containers. Such a yummy(and healthy) treat for these super hot days, or anytime really. The kids ask for more every time which is music to my ears! This is one frozen summer treat that I certainly don’t mind giving seconds of.
