I am sorting through pictures on my camera’s memory card and I’m so glad to have gotten so many of them but I’m really bummed because my camera is officially dead. It was left out in the rain a couple of weeks ago(thank you baby brain). I was able to dry it all out and it made it through Toby’s piano recital and all the way until Sunday morning before his First Holy Communion. As we were sitting in the church getting ready to take pictures, it died. Great timing. Thankfully lots of other people covered for me so I’m looking forward to getting ahold of what I can to preserve that day. For now, I’ll be researching new cameras.
Since my blogging has been on break due to life being a bit busy I’ll back up and start with Mother’s Day.
After sleeping in I was greeted with this amazing breakfast:
Strawberry/cream cheese stuffed french toast with homemade strawberry syrup and real maple syrup. Love it!
The rest of the day was pretty relaxing and enjoyable with mass, visiting my mom and then spending the evening with Mark’s family for dinner. I felt completely spoiled that day with 2 beautiful handmade cards from the kids, Mark beginning work on bringing air conditioning back to the bedroom, a new watering can and garden clippers, PLUS a clean house which Mark and the kids took care of the night before.
Oh, I am a very lucky woman indeed.
